About the Grant
EPDIG is committed to empowering undeserved communities in the United States and select neighboring countries. We understand that impact knows no borders, and funding should be accessible to changemakers no matter where they are based, so long as the work aligns with our mission.
Eligible Regions
You may apply for the EPDIG Grant if you are:
• A U.S. citizen or legal resident
• A citizen or resident of Canada, the United Kingdom, or a country within the European Economic Area (EEA)
• Leading a project with measurable community or economic impact


Grant Opportunities
Domestic Grants (United States-Based Applicants)
We prioritize funding for individuals and organizations in the United States who are:
• Starting small businesses or nonprofits
• Leading grassroots community efforts
• Developing socially responsible tech, wellness, or education solutions
• Serving underserved populations including BIPOC, LGBTQ+, disabled, or low-income communities
Examples:
• A woman-owned startup in Atlanta building affordable mental health tech
• A community food program in Chicago
• A mobile dental clinic in rural Texas
Foreign-Eligible Grants (Neighboring Countries)
EPDIG also considers applicants from the following countries if their work:
• Addresses local or global challenges (climate, health, access to education, etc.)
• Demonstrates a clear plan, measurable goals, and community impact
Eligible Countries:
• Canada
• United Kingdom
• EEA nations (e.g., Ireland, Germany, Sweden, France)
3. Women in Leadership Grant
• Funding: Up to $250,000
• Focus: Women-led initiatives and gender equality programs
• Deadline: July 1,
