EPDIG offers targeted grants and microloans to support community-led projects, nonprofits, and small businesses focused on inclusion, empowerment, and long-term impact.

Here are our open funding streams:

 

Inclusive Growth Grant

Up to $150,000 (Grant)
For organizations and initiatives working to reduce inequality, expand access to resources, and empower underserved communities (e.g. women, youth, disabled persons, LGBTQ+, unemployed workers).
Open to: U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, and Caribbean-based initiatives.
Deadline: Rolling applications; quarterly review cycles.

StartSmart Microloan Fund

Up to $50,000 (Loan)
Designed for early-stage entrepreneurs and community-led businesses with a social mission.
Includes optional business coaching and financial mentoring.
Eligible Regions: U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, Caribbean
Deadline: Applications reviewed monthly.

 

Civic Impact & Engagement Grant

Up to $100,000 (Grant)
Supports voter education, democratic participation, advocacy, and civic awareness initiatives  especially those led by or serving marginalized groups.
Deadline: October 15, 2025

Women & Youth Empowerment Fund

Up to $125,000 (Grant)
For programs led by or directly benefiting women or young people, especially in underserved or high-barrier environments.
Deadline: November 1, 2025

Application Process; Applying for a grant or loan with EPDIG is simple and transparent:

Register & Submit

Create an account on the EPDIG Portal to access the full application form.

02.

Submit Your Proposal

Include all required documents, including your funding request, project plan, and budget outline.

Initial Review

Proposals are evaluated by our independent reviewers based on clarity, impact, and alignment with EPDIG goals.

04

Interview or Follow-Up

Shortlisted applicants may be asked for clarification or to attend a brief virtual session.

05

Final Selection

Our Advisory Board makes funding decisions and notifies successful applicants by email.

Note: EPDIG receives a high volume of applications. Strong proposals are community-centered, measurable, and demonstrate long-term viability or impact.
